# ABOUT RANCID NOISE
RANCID NOISE is a net-label started by Phisilon in August 2026. Rancid Noise was created out of the lack of this kind of label, a label that accepts all types of extreme and obscene music. Genres like speedcore, cybergrind, breakcore, extratone, grindcore, and of course harsh noise is all welcome here.
All rights to all music on RANCID NOISE goes to the artists who made the songs. All music on RANCID NOISE is the artist property. RANCID NOISE takes no ownership at all. RANCID NOISE is only here to support the artists that make life worth living.
RANCID NOISE is still in its infancy and we are open to anyone willing to contribute. If you’d like to release your noise or be involved in the label in anyway PLEASE submit your music at https://rancidnoise.net/submit (we really want you too).

# ABOUT PHISILON
Hey! I'm Phisilon `(pronounced: /faɪsɪlɑn/)` but if thats too much for you just call me Phi. I'm a musician on the internet and owner of this label. As of writing this I only have a few releases but dispite that I've been going at it for 5 years. I'm really into the extreme and inaccessible side of music such as grind, noise, and breakcore and thats mostly what I aspire to make. Other than that I also like art. I've done every single cover and logo for my music aswell as everything on this website (with no AI, absolutly none).
You might be able to find me in extreme music communities, I don't do much else online.

# Frequently Asked Questions
- **Q:** Will you even do physicals? (CDs, Cassettes, Vinyl)?
- **A:** I’d LOVE too. Currently however… not yet :(. It can get expensive and time consuming, and like for any person alive, those 2 things are hard for me to come by. What will most likely happen is that I reach out for help from another label. I do not know yet though.
- **Q:** Can I release my music?
- **A:** PLEASE DO!! The greatest honor is your desire to have me release your precious music. As stated in the bio, we take no ownership and are only here to support your music. You can submit your release at https://rancidnoise.net/submit
- **Q:** What counts as extreme?
- **A:** Boundary breaking to put it in simple terms. Fast tempos, abrasive mixing, actual noise, chaos, and intensity are examples. However “extreme” is pretty subjective. I’ve seen many of debates over whether certain songs should be considered extreme because everyone has a diffrent opinion on what counts. At the end of the day if you get to decide yourself if you consider your music extreme.
- **Q:** Can I do [X] with my music that is released on here?
- **A:** It is your music, not mine. Do whatever you want.
- **Q:** Why isn’t anything on streaming?
- **A:** I don’t want to write an essay so I won’t say my full response. In short, streaming sucks. It doesn’t support artists and it encourages you to listen to music in a way that devalues it. I highly recommend leaving streaming and buying music instead.
